Important event to report: Completion of repair work without the need for a controlled shutdown of Unit 1 of Cernavoda NPP

SN Nuclearelectrica SA announces that the planned shutdown of Unit 1 of Cernavoda NPP, previously announced for the evening of March 6, 2026, will no longer take place.

The type of repair work, which needed to be carried out in the conventional part of the plant, allowed for the completion of this work without the need for the controlled shutdown of Unit 1.

Unit 1 CNE is operating at nominal power.
