Fitch affirms Transgaz`s rating at 'BBB-', outlook stable

The National Gas Transmission Company TRANSGAZ SA informs all those concerned that on 02.06.2023 the international agency Fitch Ratings affirmed the rating of our company at 'BBB-' outlook stable. 

`The rating affirmation reflects Transgaz’s solid business profile as a concessionaire and operator of the gas transmission network in Romania, its solid 2022 results and our expectation of regulatory continuity into the new regulatory period from October 2024` the report states.

SNTGN TRANSGAZ is the technical operator of the National Natural Gas Transmission System and ensures the performance in terms of efficiency, transparency, safety, non-discriminatory access and competitiveness of the national strategy established for domestic and international transmission, natural gas dispatching, research and design in the field of natural gas transmission, in compliance with the national and European legislation and standards of quality, performance, environment and sustainable development.
