Transilvania Investments strengthens its governance structure following the authorization of the new members of the Supervisory Board
Transilvania Investments announces the authorization by the Financial Supervisory Authority (Authorization no. 148/16.10.2026) of the composition of the Supervisory Board following the appointment of Ms. Luminita-Delia Runcan and Mr. Ioan Sumandea-Simionescu as members of the Supervisory Board, elected by the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on July 9, 2026 for a term valid until 19.04.2029. The appointment of the new members- professionals with relevant experience in the financial sector - supports the Fund's internal governance and supervisory policies in a changing economic context.
Luminita-Delia Runcan has over 30 years of experience in the banking system and risk management. Her professional career is complemented by executive programs at INSEAD, London Business School, Oxford Said Business School and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
Ioan Sumandea-Simionescu is a specialist in corporate governance, banking law and capital markets, with an activity that combines executive experience, academic research and involvement in the development of the financial market regulatory framework.
Thus, the new composition of the Supervisory Board, namely Adriana Tiron-Tudor, Luminita-Delia Runcan and loan Sumandea-Simionescu, and the complementarity of the members' skills and experience in essential areas, such as auditing, accounting, financial reporting, risk management, corporate governance, will ensure the optimal functioning of the supervisory and control body of Transilvania Investments.
